Hello when I try to run the program the following instruction is coming.

Error initializing emulator:
A firmware update is required for the MSP430 Debug Interface (MSP-FET430UIF / MSP-FET / eZ-FET). Click the "Update" button to update the firmware and launch your debug session (this may require several update steps).

DO NOT UNPLUG THE INTERFACE DURING THE UPDATE.

Even after i click update multiple times its again asking same thing, please update your firmware.

after clicking multiple times update its coming as your usb device malfunctioned.

please help me to solve this problem

hello sir i couldn't understand the procedure to do cold booting.

Can you please explain me the step by step procedure for msp430fr2355 device cold booting. I have tried a lot and couldn't find it.

The cold booting is not specific for any device but for MSP-FET itself. The procedure on the document is one we could supply to you. If you still have any problem please let me know which step or issue you are stopping.
