EVM5505 Error Initializing Emulator

Hi,

I have been trying to get started with TMS320VC5505 EVM . When I plugged in the EVM into the USB port, new hardware was detected and some drivers were automatically installed. In the Device Manager I see "'SD USB Based Debug Tools'"->"Spectrum Digital TMS320C5510".

my board is TMS320VC5505 EVM.. not TMS320C5505 EVM (VC and C difference)

I run CCS (v4 and v3.3) IDE and tried CCS Configuration. I selected "Spectrum Digital DSK-EVM-eZdsp onboard USB Emulator"->"EVM5505". Then I clicked "Launch Selected Configuration" and get the error message "Error Initializing Emulator".
i build example LCD Project but i can not debug .
An ERROR : "Error Initializing Emulator"

Selami,

It should work. I am afraid that I do not know what is wrong with your set-up with the given information. Could you provide screen shots of your target configuration?

The problem is solved....

i delete board driver (with in CD). And i delete code composer v4 completely. i reinstall ccs v4 . When I plugged in the EVM into the USB port, new hardware was detected and some drivers were automatically installed ( win7 ). At this time, Everything is OK. I think the board driver in cd is not rigth driver for win7.
