CCS/CC2640R2F: Active project won't build

Can you try cleaning your workspace and then reimporting the project to it?

Deleted the .metadata directory.  Then attempted to import the project.  I selected "File", "Import", "C/C++", "CCS Projects", selected the directory where my projects are at, selected the project, selected Automatically import referenced projects found in same search-directory, Finish.  A message box pops up with the message "Invalid project description".

Can you zip up and attach the three .*project files in your project directory?

When you did this step, was the “Copy into workspace” checkbox enabed? If so, can you try again but with this checkbox disabled?

It was not checked.

That project should import fine. Not sure why you got the error then. Can you try creating a brand new workspace folder of a different location/path and try importing the project to that one (you can have the option to copy to workspace enabled)?

Also, what exact version of CCS are you using?

Version 8.3.0.00009

I will try another workspace location.

The main project came across just fine.  However, there is a referenced project (a library project) that did not.  The error message I got was:

its meta-data cannot be interpreted.  Please contact support.

Please attach the metadata for that referenced project (the .*project files)

Is there only a .project file in the folder? For it to be a legitimate CCS project, there needs to be three files (.project, .cproject, .ccsproject)
