CCS/MSP432P401R: how to use gui composer?

My project deals with stroke patients. I need to create them a sensitive joystick using the MSP432P401R component. The component is connected to the BOOSTXL-SENSORS sensor component and also to the joystick. I don't have the joystick yet. I invited him.

and if i want to know the battery usage, i need to order the BOOSTXL-BATPAKMKII_FuelGauge_MSP432P401R ?

without this it is impossible?
