I am waiting your answer.
Thank you.
  • Hello,

Thank you for the log. I will send this to the engineering team for analysis. I will be sure to pass on any updates as I get them.

I also noticed that you are trying to install an old version of CCS. Is there any particular reason for this? I know that the examples in the Automotive Toolbox were created using this older version of CCS. But newer versions should work. The key things are matching the versions of the other tools like XDCtools, SYS/BIOS, etc..

  • Hi,

Could you please zip up the contents of the install directory's install_logs folder and post the zip here?

    thanks,

    Danish Innis

  • Thank you for your reply. I already installed the newest version, but I found some errors when I rebuilded the Lab project.

The SW guy advised me to install the old version tool which he is using. He also don't know what is the problem.

If you have any idea, please let me know.

    Thank you.

  • Hello?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I can not find the install_logs folder, I can see the log file, ccs_7.4.0.00015.log.

I don't know what you want.

Would you explain what you want?

    Thank you.

  • Hi,

Could you look in the install directory folder? For example, if you're using c:\ti, the default directory offered by the installer, you should see the install logs folder in C:\ti\ccsv7\install_logs.  If this does not exist because your installation didn't start, can you please explain what error you are seeing? Maybe send a screen grab?

    thanks,

    Danish
