CCS4.2 compile tcf file

Is there a way to compile only a tcf file under ccs4.2, for *.c for example there is the "Build selected file(s)" option,

Hi,

No, there is no option to build the .tcf alone from within CCS.

However, whenever you double-click to open the .tcf or any time you save it, the BIOS builder (tconf) automatically performs several error-checking steps in the background - it is almost a "build" but does not generate the files.
