CCS/RM48L952: Why does CCS show Indexer has eccountered a problem ?

Hello,

I have encouneterd the problem. I've just opened the C-code from teammate. Then CCS showed me the error " 'C/C++ Indexer' has encounterd a problem. An internal error occurred during : "C/C++ Indexer". "

(1)Could someone tell me the reason why CCS tell this?

(2)Could someone tell me how can I solve it?

Hello,

The index cache often gets corrupted, causing indexing issues. The first thing to try is to clean the index cache and rebuild it. Please see section 6.1.3.2.2.1 in the User's Guide on how to do this:

Also note that CCSv7.1 is a very old version and is no longer supported. If it is an option, I would strongly recommend updating to a later version. Later versions have various bug fixes and enhancements - including fixes/improvements to the indexer to make it more robust.
