CCS/EVM430-FR6047: Edit the delay period from code using the new delay function

Thanks for reaching out to the TI E2E support forum.  We are committed to providing a quality E2E experience to our customers during the global COVID-19 health pandemic and the associated work restrictions.  In this particular case we require access to specific HW and lab instrumentation to further debug the issue posted in this thread.  We are determining what can be done in this regard and will give an update by tomorrow.

Which delay function you are talking about? Is it "UPS0 to UPS1 Gap (ms)"?

Some of these delay functions are "intrinsics" and need to be defined at compile time.

I have resorted to this:

switch (delay)

{

case 1:

delay(1);

break;

case 2:

delay(2);

case 3:

delay(3)

...

}

Yes i was referring to UPS0 to UPS1 gap in the code it is "USSLibGUIApp_Delay(); ". I have tried to edit "HMI_update_USSsleepDuration(void)" as follows but it doesnt seem to work and it changes when updated from USS GUI software.

Hi Prudhvi,

Well, the UPS0 to UPS1 gap is a GUI app level function. You can not find related code in the software. I would recommend you to use a timer to wake up and run the main loop for instead. Does it make sense to you?

Earlier I used to work on the timer based on the post https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/msp430/f/166/t/796578?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=MSP430FR6047. Do you recommend going back to the same timer for a configurable time?
