CCS/CC2640R2F: Looking for a command line tool to program the part in Windows XP

Part Number: CC2640R2F
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, , FLASH-PROGRAMMER

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I've got Windows XP machines in a production environment and I'm trying to program the CC2640R2F using any command line tool.  So far I've been unable to get Uniflash to run on Windows XP.  I get as far as it trying to initialize during the programming sequence and it freezes.  My development platform is in a Windows 10 environment and everything runs smoothly.  I don't mind using any tool other than Uniflash if needed, but I'd like to know if it's even possible to program this part on a Windows XP machine?

  • Hi,

You can consider one of the following options:

    - Try to use Flash-Programmer

    - Upgrade to Windows 10 your production environment (when it comes to IT security, this is the best solution).

    - If you absolutely have to stay with Windows XP and if you understand the risks in using outdated software, try to use an older version of Uniflash (this thread might help you) or Flash-Programmer (this thread might help you)

    I hope this will help,
