TMS570 flash library

We are using the TMS570 flash library which can be downloaded from http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/f035flashapi.html.

I notice in the documentation that it was apparently built with V4.4.11 of the TI C compiler. We are currently using Code Generation Tools 4.7.1. Does this mean that the library must be rebuilt or is it OK to use as is?

If not OK, could someone from TI please rebuild and post.

Richard,

In general, it should be ok to use 4.4.x with 4.7.x. When the middle digit in the compiler version changes, you can expect object level compatibility but the newer version may have new features, so if the code uses any of the new features added in 4.7.x, it will not be compatible with previous versions that lack those features.
