Anyone know what this error code means? I can no longer connect to my F28335

Hi,

This can be because of what you said, the power 3.3 to the board could have got lesser.

This can be due to watchdog reset, if you have any.

This can be a problem with the Emulator.

If its continuous reset, check for internal Watchdog or External Watchdog reset.

This also can be a corrupt FLASH memory of the controller.
I had and I still have the same problem with F28334 and F28335. 

When I change the boot source (e.g. SCI) then I get a connection with the emulator to the controller. But then the emulator recognizes a locked FLASH memory !
And I never used the password section with a password.

I also guess that the reason could be a unstable 3.3V supply.

-          What version of Code Composer Studio are you using?

-          Which Emulator are you currently using to program the device?

No.  I haven't resolved the issue.  I replaced the part and kept moving.  This has happened to us 3 times on separate boards so it's something we need to get to the bottom of.  

Code composer version is 4.1.2.00027 

The emulator we're using is a Blackhawk BS-USB-2000

I still have one board left with the issue that hasn't been fixed yet.

I can take another board and program it successfully with the same setup.  How then can the emulator be the problem?

This has now happened again.  As of yesterday, I now have another device that is not responding with the same error as in my original post.

There was nothing different going on when it happened.  I've been debugging as I have for the past few weeks.  It seems to have occurred randomly.

Please advise

I reset the blackhawk with the BHreset_USB2000.bat file as described in the post link.  This did not work.  I get the same error.

Do you find solution to your problem? I am also getting the error msg. I am also using Blackhawk 2000 emulator. It was working fine but all of sudden I started to get this msg when I launch debugger. Following is my error:

C28xx: Error connecting to the target: Error 0x80000240/-230 Fatal Error during: Initialization, OCS,
