Compiler/ARM-CGT: CODEGEN-7141 fixed in ARM_18.1.8.LTS?

JIRA lists the issue CODEGEN-7141 "Simple division expression optimized into incorrect complicated expression" as being present in several of TI's compiler chains:

Despite the ARM CGT chain not being listed, am I correct in assuming that this issue is also present in ARM_18.1.0.LTS and is first fixed in that series in ARM_18.1.8.LTS?

I have the same question for CODEGEN-7098 "Incorrect optimization of expression that mixes the types long and short".

Neither of those bugs are present in the TI ARM compiler. I'm pretty sure it is because the types int and long are the same size, 32-bits.

FYI, I'm also seeing CODEGEN-7141 and CODEGEN-7098 listed in the web page for "ARM C/C++ Code Generation Tools v18.1.8.LTS Release Notes":

Since they is listed as a "Resolved defects", this is putatively harmless, but for us it was confusing because we use newly-released release notes to help us identify bugs that are presumably present in earlier releases (as the release notes for earlier releases are not usually updated).

In any event, you may wish to revise those notes.

That is an error in the release notes. Thank you for pointing it out. The same problem will not occur in future releases.
