Good evening, i have the necessity to open an old version of CCS : 3.1.

I have the project.

I tried to open it , and it work fine.

But after a first section, i have tried to reopen the project: NOW IS NOT possible.

In particular  a Gel file is showed but not the Project folder.

If i try to go in the Project folder, Tho voice Open, New is grayed!!!! why is not possible to Open or create a new Project?

Is there a file that can block the CCS? i read a post that talk about  to change ccs_Compdb.ini in .bak. I tried to search this file but i don't found it.

Can you indicate some action to make in order to restart CCS 3.1?

    Can you show me a screenshot of the CCS IDE?

    Also, what Windows version are you using?

    Hello Ki,

    im using an old pc with windows 2000. The emulator is an ISA emulator.

    So actually i dont have screen shot. But Simply qhen click on the CPU and open the CCS, the contents of Project Menu (Create, Open, etc) are dimmed.

    In the explere pane on the left only GEL file are prenset. Before Project folder was there when i open the project.

    Wow! Windows 2000 and the old TI XDS510 ISA pod! What a classic combination.

    Try the below (assuming you have admin rights to your PC):

    re-register the project management component:

    > regsvr32 C:\CCStudio_v3.1\cc\bin\projsvr.dll

    re-register the build tools:

    > regsvr32 C:\CCStudio_v3.1\C6000\cgtools\bin\bti6000.dll

    adjust the path to point to where you have CCS 3.1 installed.

    Now the voices in Project Menu are Enabled.
