Hi,

I'm using Embedded Coder Support Package for C2000 MCU, using the chip TMS320F28379d. I made a simple model using a ADC and a DAC block. The model configuration properties are set as ( Boot from Flash). When I click on build button, the code build, but doesn't load to the MCU. The image is attached for the reference. I'm using CCSv6 ( that probably is required to install the support package). I was hoping if someone can help me with this issue. Thanks advance.

Ratik,

Can you try latest CCS (10.0) ? CCS 6 is very old and so many things have been fixed since then. Also, I will recommend to download C2000ware latest release and try any example from DriverLib (BlinkyLed), just to make sure it can connect and run the test.

Hi Santosh,

Thanks for the reply. I just had one question, while downloading the Support package, the system generally asks, the CCS version being used, I can't find any version other than CCS v6 ( I'm attaching the screenshot as well). Am I missing something while downloading, the Support package to MATLAB. I did try downloading CCs v8, and it didn't help me.

Again, mentioning:

Version of MATLAB being used is MATLAB 2017a

Hi Ratik,

You can check the version compatibility here: http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccs_matlab.html

For MathWorks R2017a, we supported up thru CCSv6, so the prompt you are seeing is correct. We started support for CCSv8 with Release R2018b. You have to remember that we develop based on the current version of CCS at that time, and we update the package as time goes on. CCSv8 didn't exist in 2017 when we did our release testing.

@Santhosh: We don't yet officially support CCSv10, although we did do some quick testing with R2020a, and it should work. We do have confirmed support for CCSv9, and we plan to officially support CCSv10 in our R2020b release.

Thank you for the reply and suggestions. So, what do you suggest I should do, with the present set of version I've to make TMS320F28379d work using flash mode.
