CCS/TMS320F28377D: Project will not import

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have CCS 9.3.0 and am trying to import a project. I have compiler version TI v20.2.1.LTS . It won't let me install v19.6 because 20.2.1 already exists.

Here is the error I get....

Import failed for project 'MCM138A_CPU1CLA1_IPMM_Inv' because its compiler definition is not available. Please install the C2000v19.6 compiler before importing this project:

- See 'Help > Install New Software' and select 'Code Generation Tools Updates' to check if this compiler is available through a CCS update.

- Visit CCS App Center to get the latest compiler support.

- Or download and install the compiler [http://software-dl.ti.com/codegen/non-esd/downloads], then register it with CCS through 'Preferences > CCS > Build > Compilers'.

Did you try the above step? You can install the 19.6.0 compiler using the above step:

Sounds like are running into this problem:

Seems like v19.x and 20.x of the compiler have the same feature ID. I'll see if there is some workaround so you can keep both versions discovered by CCS
