CCS/CC2642R: In what condition RED LED near XDS110 chip always ON, but XDS is not detecting

Hi,

I do not see any XDS110 detected under Ports&COM but RED LED near XDS is always ON

Please let me know device is in which condition ?

I tried reintalling uscif drivers and used different cables but no improvement

Sorry, I think e2e swallowed my reply to your other thread.

I suspect there may be a fault on the firmware of the XDS110 of your board. Can you check the sections Updating the firmware and Troubleshooting → Flashing the bootloader of the XDS110 page below?

Hi Rafael,

I do not see any XDS110 detected as below

Since UART is not detected we can not update the firmware of xds110

I even tried install CCS and new sdk taken with other laptop still the same issue

Shilpa,

Did you try the process shown in the procedure "Flashing the bootloader" in the page above?

If that fails, the board is most probably damaged.
