Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi TI Forum,

After I downloaded ccs_setup_win32 from the official website, I tried to install it in under D:\ but failed.

My windows is WIN10, 64bit OS. I closed the virus defender already. And I set NVIDIA (revision 8.1.956.0) to "High-performance NVIDIA processor" as well like the mentioned solution below:

I've got advice which you might not like, but it will solve your problem. The version of CCS which you are trying to install is out of date by at least five years, maybe even ten years. You should not attempt to write firmware with that old IDE.

Do this:

Completely remove CCS from your computer.
Restart your computer.
Choose to install either the Cloud version or the Desktop version. It is now at Version 9.3.
Install CCS.

I see that your user name has a whitespace character in it ("Xxxx Xxxx"). This can cause issues with installation, CCS execution, etc.

Also, Thomas is correct - CCSv6.2 is very old and no longer supported. I strongly suggest updating you CCS version. The current version is 10.0.

I see the latest version is 10.0 in TI website. Will try to install this version.
