so far I used the XDS to interface the 320F28027F for the communication with the InstaSPIN GUI is there also a way using the RS232 interface instead of the XDS. Do you have an application note about it?

Sorry, the InstaSPIN GUI only supports XDS-JTAG, doesn't support other interfaces.

You might refer to the below documentation if you want to add the SCI interface for communication function in your project, but it's not for InstaSPIN GUI.

thanks - my idea was to modify the InstaSPIN GUI similar to the MSP430 - is there a way?
