I can show the procedure for displaying older versions of SDK in Resource Explorer.  However there is a bug that is preventing this from working.  This issue will be resolved with the release of CCSv10.1.  That said the release is online and will fix CCSv10.0 as well.

To install an older package you can select the SDK, click on the 3 virtical dots to bring up the context menu.  Select Manage Versions.

You can then see older versions of the SDK.  On the right you can click on the arrow and choose to install them.  The check box on the left controls which versions are displayed in Resource Explorer.  The check box on the left is not currently working.

To import an example from the SDK today you would need to go to the Project menu and select Import CCS Projects.  Then browse to where the SDK is installed.

Can you let me know which example project you are importing so that I can try to reproduce?  It sounds like the SDK installation may be corrupted.

I am going to loop in our project expert as well.
