Profile clock not available on TMS570LS

Hi,

I am using a TMP570LS with XDS100v2 JTAG; however, in CCS4.2, I do not have the option for the "clock" (under target). Any suggestion/comments on why this is happening?

Ariton,

The clock options only show up if the emulation driver is exposing events that can be counted (typically only cycles). If nothing is being exposed then the clock feature will not be available. If you use another emulator is clock available?

I can try to find a TMS570LS on monday to test.

I was able to reproduce this problem with a few different emulators. I have filed a defect for this SDSCM00039198.

Many thanks John,

if there is a fix, it would be great, as I won't have to look at the register for the free counter and covert the values.
