CCS/CC1352R: Code Composer and Flash Programmer requires different firmware versions of debugger

Hello,

in general I can use the smartrf flash programmer do update/download flash contents of the processor. The problem is that both tools require different firmware versions of the debugger.

When I connect the programmer (Version 1.8.1 of Flash Programmer 2) it tells that the firmware must be updated

Unfortunately it doesn't show which version is on the debugger and which version is required.

After doing the update and starting then code composer I got the info

So for me it seems that the flash programmer only works with version 2.x but code composer only with 3.x.

That's very strange as both is comming from the same vendor, isn't it?

So I can't use both tools with the same debug probe? Or have to make always firmware updates? Unlucky!
