CCS/LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1: No code is associated with error is not letting to do breakpoint and debug

I am not able to see my application files in the module view, but I can see them in project explorer window.

The modules view would show information contained in the loaded debug symbols. Hence this would be more relevant. What do you see in the modules view? Please provide a screenshot of the modules view with the files node expanded.

If you expand all the nodes under "Files"  for the "project_zero_CC26X2R1_LAUNCHXL_tirtos_ccs.out" node in the modules view, is there no "project_zero.c"?

Hi Ki,

I have seen it properly earlier. 

It is (project_zero.c) can be spotted in my modules view. How do I proceed now?

Thanks. If you double-click on the file in the Modules view, it should open the file in the editor. For that file that is opened from the Modules view, are you able to set a breakpoint in it?

I did whatever you said. Following are the observations.

1) Many function invocations I am NOT able to do. It gives "No code associated...." error message.

2) Though breakpoint at function invocation is giving error, inside the same function definition it allows (definition is also in the same file as that of invocation)

There certainly is some issue with the debug symbols and source code correlation. I am using the same SDK version and example, but your project_zero.c looks different. Are you using a customer version it?

Background:

a) I have taken project_zero as a main project.

b) Then combined functions of temperatureNotify project.

c) I was trying to create a new thread using XGCONF GUI (because original thread in temperatureNotify project was posix so deleted it. Then created a new thread using XGCONF).

d) I was in need of an IPC between threads of project_zero and threads of temperatureNotify project. So have created mailbox for that purpose. 

These are the major steps I have done 

At the end I see this breakpoint issue. Same project one month old version (before merging temperatureNotify) was good for debug purposes.

I can give you remote access to my system if you prefer. Feel free to ask additional details.

This sounds like an issue of where the source file being used for debug is not the same exact copy used for compilation. Can you send me your *.out file and your full build output in the build console (may have to rebuild the application).
