CCS/CODECOMPOSER: XDS100v2 Error -183 & -1041

Part Number: CODECOMPOSER
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320F28335

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi,

I'm trying to use the XDS100v2 debug probe. The project is built with no errors but when I click on the Debug button,

first, I get error 183 and after some minutes it changes to error 1041.

____________________________________________

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.

The value is '-183' (0xffffff49).
The title is 'SC_ERR_CTL_CBL_BREAK_FAR'.

The explanation is:
The controller has detected a cable break far-from itself.
The user must connect the cable/pod to the target.

C28xx: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1041 @ 0xFFFFFF49) The debug probe reported an error.

Confirm debug probe configuration and connections, reset the debug probe, and retry the operation. (Emulation package 8.2.0.00004)

I use CCS v9.1 installed on Win 10 64bit.

I checked the device manager and it shows that the probe is recognized and is working properly.

Also, I get the same errors when I click on the Test Connection button in TMS320F28335.ccxml file in targetConfigs folder.

The debug probe worked with another PC with Win 7 64bit, CCS 9.1 and the same F28335 dsp, but it doesn't work with my system.
