Compiler/TMS320C6455: Building code of CCSv3.3 into CCSv4

Hi,

I am trying to build code of CCSv3.3 into CCSv4 for DSK6455 kit, but I am having certain error which I am not understanding.

Moreover this code runs in CCSv3.3 but I cannot program the code permanently into the flash. Kindly guide me please.

Hi Baseer,

What version of of DSP/BIOS are you using in both set-ups? What version of the compiler are you using in both set-ups?

When you installed CCSv4, did you include the support of C64?

Hi Todd,

The DSP/BIOS version I am using for CCSv3.3 is (5.31.02) and for CCSv4 (5.41.10.36)

Compiler I am using is 7.4.24 for CCSv4.

No I did not you include the support of C64. I don't know how to add them, I am using DSP for the first time.

Baseer,

Can you install 5.31.02 on the machine with CCSv4? Does that help?

You need to start a new thread (and open it against CCS) for help adding C64 support into the CCSv4 setup. I know how to do it for the newer versions of CCS, but not for ones that are that old.
