CCS: UART_WRITE

Hi,

Our RTS does not implement itoa(). Did you try sprintf() instead? Various references on the web have examples about this.

I think you need to show us your code.

I suspect you are sending the sizeof the char and not the sizeof the buffer as the third argument to UART_Write()

And I'm getting this error- "#169-D argument of type "char" is incompatible with parameter of type "const void *"

In any case this is a memory leak.

You are not returning characters, you are returning the individual digits. Look into the num + '\0' trick.

UART_WRite() expects a void *, you need a cast.

K&R show a simple itoa() as an example.
