I found this thread very interesting, and the answer discusses a pwm update diagram (for double-update PWM ?):
It seems that CMPC and CMPD are used to sample and start the adc conversion, then when TBCTR = 0 the value of CMPA is loaded to the pwm register and causes the PWMA wavefrom to SET as soon as CMPA = TBCTR.
CMPD also triggers a the ADC conversion, the value of the duty CMPB is loaded in the pwm register when TBCTR = PRD, and as soon as CMPB = TBCTR the PWM waveform PWMA CLEARs.
Could you confirm if I am interpreting this diagram correctly? or give any hint to interpret this diagram?
