CCS/CC2652P: Long time linking when build

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I use CC2652P, CCS10.1, SimpleLink SDK v4.20, TI15.4 stack.

When I build the project each time, it takes a long time in Linking state about 30s, no matter big modification or small modification in source code.

I have checked that "parallel build" is enabled in project properties.

My computer CPU is i5-4460 3.2GHz, RAM is 16GHz, CCS installed in SSD.

Is there way to fasten the link speed?

Are you building with the compiler option --opt_level=4? This level of optimization includes link time optimization. This causes the linker to re-compile the entire program. Consider reducing it to --opt_level=3. If that causes your performance or code size to get worse, consider changing back to --opt_level=4 near the end of the development cycle.
