CCS/CC1352R: ROV: Failed to create the part's controls

Hi,

I'm using CCS v8.3 on Windows 10. When I start the ROV in debug perspective I get the following message:

Failed to create the part's controls

clicking on "Details" there is:

com.teamdev.jxbrowser.chromium.internal.ipc.IPCException: IPC process exited. Exit code: -1073741515
	at com.teamdev.jxbrowser.chromium.internal.ipc.d.run(SourceFile:198)
	at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:745)

The same issue appears when I want to launch Resource Explorer and Getting Started.

Looking in the forum I found that maybe this issue it's related to ./ccs/eclipse/configuration/.jxbrowser-chromium-lib but there is no file such this in this specific directory.

How can I fix this issue?

thanks for your reply!

After deleting the entire JxBrowser folder in C:\Users\<id>\AppData\Local I launched again CCS and tried again to start Resource Explorer (Getting Started and others as well). In this case, AVG antivirus pops up a message concerning browsercore-64.0.3282.24.6.20 .dll (it recognizes this as malware) to avoid this I add an exception in the antivirus options menù.

Now it works fine, thank you for your support.
