CCS/TDA2P-ACD: Trace Analyzer, UIA, UIAcTools, ETB and CToolsLib

Hi,

I just started to make sense of the trace facilities available in CCS and I got confused because there are a lot of information but it is hard to figure out which one is the correct one to use and some information may not be up to date.

For example:

1) may I still use CToolsLib together with UIA? makes that sense?

2)What about UIAcTools? it seems that instead of handlling CToolsLib directly, when using UIA one should use UIAcTools instead, right? Is still possible to use UIA with CToolsLib without UIAcTools? 

3) Are UIAcTools packet included implicitly when we add UIA support to our target?

My goal is first to get Trace Analyzer working in my development enviroment but the end goal is to be able to get traces unattended in field (i.e. when the system crashes). For that, as far as I understand, I need to use the SoC's STM/ETB but I could not find a clear description about how to get that working all together with any of the tools named above for my target.
