Which CCS version is delivered with OMAP-L138/TMS320C6748 EVM

Hi All,

I purchased OMAP-L138/TMS320C6748 EVM last month. After unpacking I found that it contains the software CCS v3.3. The documentation says it should come with CCS v4.2 (http://focus.ti.com/docs/toolsw/folders/print/tmdsevml138.html).

Is there any way to upgrade the software that came with my EVM to CCS v4? I looked at the links specified in the leaflet attached but I could not find anything.

You should be able to downlod CCS v4.x from the Product Folder for it.

The free version works with the EVM with no need to purchase the CCS subscription at this time, unless you are planning to use a different emulator than what is available on the EVM board.

When you target your own hardware, you will need to then purchase the CCS-ALL Platnium version.
