Hi,

I have a question about UART in the StarterWave routine.

I call the function UARTFIFOWrite to put the data I need to send into A FIFO.

However, when this function executes the For loop, it is interrupted by other tasks, and the data sent out later becomes abnormal.

The configuration is as follows:

Problem: Why did the data exception occur when the execution of the UARTFIFOWrite function was interrupted by other tasks without any changes to the configuration?There are also problems if you change the other task functionality to Task_sleep.How to solve this problem and what causes it?

Unfortunately, starterware is no longer supported.

To get started with the UART driver, we now refer customers to our device driver template: software-dl.ti.com/.../index_device_drv.html

If you have any questions after going over that, please let me know.

Hi,

It's hard for me to tell why it might specifically be occurring. I'm not sure what the second UARTFIFOConfig function does.

To solve your current problem, I highly suggest starting with the pdk driver example mentioned above.
