We are planning to migrate from CCS6 to 10 for our project. We are looking at the arm compiler tool chains used across CCS6 to CCS10 and want to understand the differences in the tool chain.

You are not forced to change compiler versions. Please see the article Compiler Installation and Selection. That said, the later the version of the compiler, the better.

Hi George,

Can we still use the older version of the compiler if we migrate to CCS10.x version? if so, is there any procedure to be followed?
