Compiler: Compiler Announcement: New MCU compiler version 20.8.0.STS is available for C2000/CLA, and MSP430

TI is pleased to announce a new MCU compiler version 20.8.0.STS for C2000/CLA, and MSP430 which includes the following new features:

All targets:
- Enumerated type changes.
MSP430:
- Performance improvement with BIC instruction usage
C2000:
- Live Firmware Update feature for C28/CLA firmware update support (alpha capability)
- C28 has more efficient data accesses for lower 16-bits of memory when using location attribute or literal addresses.
- The Integer Division Unit (--idiv_support=idiv0) has performance updates.
- CLA has a performance improvement with more efficiently loading 16-bit constants.
