CCS/CC2640R2F: Error installing CC10.1.0 on a MAC 10.15.6

Two messages that I get when I try to install CC on a mac

and second one

What gives?  Telling me the XDCtools are Mandatory but package unavailable????? WHAT!!!

and why the error in the arm tool install above??? This stuff should just install without errors?

    Steven,

    I can reproduce the same issue.  If I click on the error link it gives me a few more details.  Looks like it downloads the package ok but then has trouble with locating the extracted content.

    I will follow up with our Resource Explorer team and figure out what is going on.

    Note that the SDK itself will be installed correctly.  It is the recommend compiler that failed to install.  As a workaround you can download the 18.12.x compiler by going to Help -> Install Code Generation Compiler Tools.  Then select the 18.12.x compiler.
