Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have a question about the flexible platform development of C6748 (as middle layer of the system),

The source code of C6748 is complied into a complete package (.tgz file) by CCS.

If we disassemble the source code of C6748 (kernel) into some sub-functions (e.g., mathematical tools into .dll) and provide function calls

so that other developers can write the applications.

Finally, can these files be packaged into a complete .tgz file by compiler?

Can CCS comple the above scenario into an executable file? ( main program by XE2, functions .dll/.lib/..., Other C++ applications)

Thanks

I'm confused by the above comment. How is this being done? CCS does not do this by default. Is there a post-build step that generates the tgz file?

    Thanks
