Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hi,
I have tried many days and many times, but I could not access Resource Explorer of CCS.
I need to install some necessary tools in Resource Explorer of CCS, such as, C6000 Code Generation Tool, TI mmWave SDK, and etc.
Could you help to check whether the corresponding server works? whether the network works?
Or is there any other proxy that could be used to access Resource Explorer of CCS?
Thanks,
Ardeal
Hi Ardeal,
The server is up an running. What error are you seeing. Also did this work for you before?
Thanks,
Imtaz.
Hi Imtaz,
Only one time I could access the Resource Explorer in CCS. After that, I couldn't.
After I clicked the Resource Explorer on View menu, I have to wait for some time. I got the following message:
I then clicked the link in the upper picture. I tried all steps in the link in the upper picture, but I am not luck to success.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Ardeal

Have you tried the steps in the troubleshooting guide?

Hi Ki,
I have tried all those steps in troubleshooting guide many times. Those steps don't work.
Thanks,
Ardeal
CCS version is : 9.1.0
I have also tried 9.2.0.
They both encountered the same issue.
There have been some Resource Explorer improvements since those versions. Can you try updating to CCS 10.x?
I could update to 10.x, however, I am afraid the SDK, and othere relevant lib/software are not compatible.
Are all other software compatible with 10.x?
It is typically ok to update CCS since you can still use older versions of the SDK, compiler, TI-RTOS, etc. It is those components that would be key regarding versioning.
You can also use CCS 10.x to use Resource Explorer and download content, while still also using 9.x in parallel (just make sure they are installed in different locations)
Hopefully 10.x Resource Explorer does work for you. Please keep us posted if it does (or does not)

Hi Ki,
I just now installed CCS10.1.1.00004_win64. in which version, the Resource Explorer does work.
I couldn't understand:
Resource Explorer will access the same server. so for any version of CCS, only if the server IP address is not changed, it should work.
why 9.x doesn't work but 10.x work?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Ardeal

Glad to hear that CCS 10.1.1 works.

I don't have all the engineering details but I do know that improvements were made to how Resources Explorer accesses the server - hence making it more stable.
Thanks
