unable to install Blackhawk XDS560v2 linux driver

I have just installed ccsv5 on my Ubuntu 10.04 LTS system. After the installation I tried to install the drivers for the Blackhawk XDS560v2 connected via USB. At the command prompt I typed:

$: sudo ./install_drivers.sh (I was in the <installation dir>/install_scripts directory. When I did that, I got the following error:

insmod: error inserting 'Bh560v2/linux.ko/2.6.32-21-generic/h_dtc.ko': -1 Invalid module format

How would I be able to install this driver?

Hi,

same problem to me.

The problem is due to that I am not running kernel 2.6.32-21. Yet, trying to manually install the driver under the current kernel, it seems to be not compatible.

Unfortunately kernel 2.6.32-21 is way old and I cannot install it in parallel any more. The driver needs to be updated, I think

This should be fixed in 5.0.3
