Hi,

I am trying to enable --gen_profile_info in the C6000 compiler, but when I build the project I run to the error #24018-D Option --use_profile_info is not valid with --gen_profile_info.

I'm working with a CCS project. In the screenshot you'll find the Feedback and Analysis Options of my project.

Thank you for reporting this problem. I can reproduce the same result. I filed the entry EXT_EP-10057 to have this investigated. You are welcome to follow it with the link below in my signature.

To understand how the options --gen_profile_info and --use_profile_info should be used, please search the C6000 compiler manual for the sub-chapter titled Using Feedback Directed Optimization.
