How can I find the value of retVal in the program shown in the figure below?

I tried debugging, but I don't know where the values are displayed.

I want the raw data before it is converted.
Is retval a variable that stores raw data?

You will need to use the DCA1000EVM for raw data capture. There is a training video for more information.
