Hi Nidhin Das,
IPC communication between AUTOSAR (on R5F) and Linux (on A72 ) is coming in Processor SDK 7.1, next upcoming release.
Yes, the same IPC CDD on AUTOSAR can be used to perform IPC with Linux rpmsg interface.
Thanks & Regards,

Hello Sunitha,
Thanks for the reply, Configurations for Ports in the Mcal Libary MCUSW_01_00_00_02_SW_CONFIG is missing; Is there any update available? whether it having any dependency with PSDK version?
Thanks and Regards,
Nidhindas TS
Hi Nidhindas,
TDA44/DRA829/DRA821 MCAL SW doesn't have port module. All the ports are configured via pinmux tool available in the SDK.
Please let me know if you are looking for any specific port configuration.
Thanks & Regards,
Sunita.
Hi Sunitha,
Is there any updated TDA44/DRA829/DRA821 MCAL SW package available currently with the below-mentioned modules, Or Is there any chance for releasing in the coming days ?.
I am having not only dependency on module PORTS but also like others mentioned below.
1. PORTS
2. MCU
3. CDD_IPC(Compactable with Linux and AUTOSAR communication)
4. LIN
5. Fee
6. Fls
Thanks and Regards,
Nidhindas TS
Sunita, I'll add one more piece of information that may be relevant.
This customer is using PSDK v6.2 and, at the current time, plans to stay on this revision.
You mentioned that about an IPC feature in the forthcoming PSDK v7.1 release, but the customer may not re-baseline.
Hi Nidhindas,
1. PORTS --> Not required as PINMUX tool autogenerated configuration is used for pinmux configuration of all peripherals.
2. MCU --> Not required as SBL/CSL startup code takes care of R5F configuration.
3. CDD_IPC(Compactable with Linux and AUTOSAR communication) --> coming in SDK7.1. This is a standalone feature, hence you can easily backport this to your codebase
4. LIN --> This has to come from AUTOSAR vendor.
5. Fee --> This is a layer above the drivers, and has to come from AUTOSAR vendor.
6. Fls --> Part of SDK7.0, delivered in June 2020.
Thanks & Regards,
Sunita.
One more point: MCUSW/MCAL package compilation is supported on ubuntu and windows PCs.
Thanks & Regards,
Sunita,
