Hi community!

I was reading the users' guide of the CCS. In chapter 7, the term "symbol" is repeatedly used. I have a question that may seem stupid! What does it mean by the term "symbol"? Could anyone please explain it to me?

Hello,

I believe you are referring to debug symbols, which is needed by the debugger to provide debug visibility to the application loaded on the target:
