I'm having exactly the issue described in an earlier post here.

I've tried a fresh install of CCSv8.1, CCSv9.3, and CCSv10.1.1.00004 (my current install).

DSP/BIOS v 5.42.02.10

xdctools_3_61_02_27_core, but I've tried about a dozen versions, all above 3.25.01.61 which the above thread specifically states this problem was fixed.

If I change my system path like the above thread suggests, this does go away. I'm just not all that excited to remember to update the system path each time I want to upgrade xdctools.

    Hi, Marshall,

    The DSP package is too old and we can't find info on which XDC version goes with DSP 5.42. 

    Regret the inconvenience and lack of guidance on this.
