CCS/TMDSCNCD28379D: When pressing reset CPU, I get this error:

Hi Josh,

Can you provide more details on your environment? For example, do you have a program loaded on both CPUs and issuing a CPU reset on just CPU2 or both cores? Does the issue only occur on CPU2?

Detailed steps taken to reproduce this issue will be very helpful.

Hi ki,

1) I right click on the fcl_f2837x_tmdxiddk folder in the project explorer and rebuild the project.

2) I click debug fcl_f2837x_tmdxiddk

This window shows up and displays that the CPU's are running:

I then click CPU Reset because I want to reset and I am following the step "reset the CPU, restart, enable real time mode, and run," found in https://www.ti.com/lit/an/spracl1a/spracl1a.pdf?ts=1603561694008 

I then receive the error after that step.

ALSO, when I click restart I receive this issue and I continue to hit cancel but it keeps popping up and eventually code composer crashes.

Do you have the TMDXIDDK379D?

Based on your first post, it sounded like you simply had an F28379D card with dock.

No, I do not have the  TMDXIDDK379D. I was wondering if that was required as well. We only have the F28379D card and the dock.

In that thread, Ramesh mentions that the example should not use CPU2. In your screenshot, I see that CPU2 is running. Can you try only loading and running CPU1?

Have tried that, but I will sometimes get an issue that says something is already running on the CPU when clicking restart even after resetting the CPU and everything is paused.

Do you have issues with any of the other more generic C2000Ware examples?

Tested LED blinky, and it does work. I solely selected CPU1, but I never had that option for the program I have been using. I will try this program again using solely CPU1.

E: I am reinstalling the c2000ware sdk and will retry this program with a fresh install.
