CCS: Receiving an error after update (and CCS will not start)

I've never seen such an error with CCS. Did you do an incremental CCS update to update your version also, or did you only do component updates?

I just went to "help/check for updates" and confirmed the installation of the components that I was told should be updated. That's it.

Happened to me 3 times before, that's why I stopped updating. I have now uninstalled and installed version 10. So the problem is gone (for now). I still would like to know what caused it so that I don't encounter the same issue when updating the new installation.

Just to confirm - the issue is after a successful update, and when you try to run CCS for the first time afterwards?

Yes. After the update CCS told me that I need to restart for the update to finish. I received the error message during the first (and every following) attempt to start CCS after that restart.

I had engineering take a look at the error message and they were not familiar with it. If it happens again, can you try using the eclipse launcher to launch CCS?
