CCS: Code Composer - TMS320C31 Device

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello all,

I am a student and am working on an educational project using TMS320C31.I already have development board and emulator, but I can't found assembler/compiler/simulator for this.

Since I'd like to work with an IDE, I'm wondering if there is available an old Code Composer v4.1 tools for C3x/4x. Where can I find it or download?

I really appreciate any help or advice you can provide.

Hello,

Those old versions of the tools require a license to use. Does your organization/school have an existing license for CC 4.x?

Unfortunately don't. I am from Latvia, in my university we do all projects only theoretically, I took the initiative and decided to try testing it on a real processor. 
I found old DSP board, emulator, but software imposible to find.

Unfortunately Code Composer 4.x for C3x requires a license to use. I believe one can be purchased from Spectrum Digital:

Thank you Ki, for the information. I contacted with this company. They want $ 1495.00 / usd. It is very expensive for short time non-commercial use, also they do not give discounts for students. I was hoping to find a demo or evaluation limited version, but spectrum digital say that they doesn't have it.

Understand. Long time ago while mountain company sell debuggers with included CODE COMPOSER 3.0. As I know this debugger support c2xx 4x, 5x, 6x 8x TI DSP.

This CC 3.0 support TMS320C31 or don't?

To be honest, I'm not sure. The oldest version of CC I ever tried was v4.1x.
