CCS/AM3356: Check Cache status by CCS

Hi,

I got a question from my customer about CCS Cache menu.
They are using AM335x and want to check Cache status by GUI.

There is “view” -> “Cache” menu in CCS toolbar, but it is grayed out.
It is not supported for AM335x?

Tashiro-san,

I believe the customer is referring to Cache tag ram view but I am not sure. I don't see a "View -> Cache" option in current versions of CCS. Which CCS version is being used?

Customer checked both version 7.4.0 and 10.1.0.

Above comment was mistake. The menu can be selected, but Cache window does not show anything.

Ah ok, yes I recall this view. This view only works with C64x+ and C66x DSP cores.

Unfortunately we do not have many debug tools for cache visibility for the ARM core that the AM335x is based on. Sorry.
