CCS: CCS v3.3 installation problem (Error 1722)

Hi,

I am getting an error when I am installing the code composer studio v3.3 that says:

"Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows Installer Package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

I already found plenty of threads in the forum dealing with this error and saying that one should avoid installing DSP BIOS because the install shield used my DSP BIOS installer causes the issue.

I tried using custom install and unchecking DSP BIOS, but the error is still present. I understand there is a workaround, but did not find it during my readings...

For example :  e2e.ti.com/.../3291

But I did not know how to tweak the install files...

Please, could you help me, indicating how to bypass this DSP BIOS installation error and be able to install CCS 3.3.
