Hello everyone.
I use FR6043_USSSWLib_template_example for MSP430FR6043 by an enterprise`s board. The program stops on __bis_SR_register(mode) from ussSwLibCommonUSS.c . Because of this nothing is sent in PuTTY. I changed pins in USS_Lib_HAL, but before this a project`s code didn`t work correct too.

No, cause I haven`t the EVM430-FR6043. Only EVM430-FR6047.

Hi Joseph,

These two chips (FR6043 and FR6047) have different internal hardware. If you are trying to get something working on the FR6043, you need to first build and test your code on the EVM430-FR6043.

Unfortunately, I can't to test a project on a TI special board. I hope that is a tipical situation or someone is met of this one before

Hi Joseph,

Have you configured your code to communicate over UART and tested with the default pins used for this? The project communicates over I2C by default.

Hi Leo,

I determined some pins in the system_pre_init file for my UART configuration. As I understand, that's enough to transmit parameters into PuTTY.

Hi Joseph,

You can enable UART communication by defining UART_ENABLE as true in comm_config.h of the example project. I would recommend enabling UART communication with the default pins first.

Please, give me one more recommendation. The project after some little changes start to transmit into PuTTY the data, but it always zero (when connect of tranducers and without that one). I have to alter part of the code or it`s a mistake? Where can I find configuration of calculation parameters?

Hi Joseph,

I recommend before trying to determine what is happening with the template project, that you start by using the example project(with GUI communication) which enables you to configure the parameters and see the ADC captures. If you're board doesn't support communication with the GUI, you can connect the I2C lines(which are connected to the USB interface in the EVM430-FR6043 schematics) from your board to a Captivate programmer board and use that to determine the right set of parameters. These parameters can then be exported to a header file which you can use in your template project.
