CCS/TMS320F28379D: Cannot Import Example Projects

Hi,

I'm on a clean install of CCS Version: 10.1.1.00004 coupled with a clean install of C2000Ware 3.03.00.00

I cannot seem to import example projects into CCS. When I click Software-C2000Ware->English->Devices->F2837XD->F28379D->Examples->Bitfield->CPU1->adc_soc_epwm followed by the import button in the top right, I get the following error.

I was getting this error previously, hence the clean install. I'm also getting the same error on a separate PC. I seem to be able to import the examples if I use the offline version of resource explorer.

Any thoughts?

Euan,

I am able to import those examples fine. Was C2000Ware installed from Resource Explorer or downloaded from ti.com?

I installed from ti.com. Is this the wrong approach?

Euan,

I have seen an issue before when C2000Ware was downloaded from ti.com. There is supposed to be a step at the end to rename a folder to ".metadata" that is not happening (the "." is important). Doesn't look like that is fixed yet.

Hi John,

I've had a flick through that thread and it looks like the folder has been renamed to metadata in my case. I'll try reinstalling C2000ware via CCS.
