Hello there,

Iam trying to import freeRtos project for MSP432P401R into CCS9.2 IDE, Iam getting below attached error. I have followed the step properly and i have tried to resolve it but i couldn't, Kindly help me out from this error.

Free RTOS version is - 10.4

What is locking(or waiting) and unlocking the I2c protocol? How you could design the unlocking I2c protocol for your system.

Hi Javad,

Is this the SDK you downloaded - https://www.ti.com/tool/download/SIMPLELINK-MSP432-SDK? What is the example project you imported from this SDK that is giving you this error?

Hi Srinivas,

Yes I have downloaded the same sdk and the project which iam trying to import is the empty RTOS project.

Hi Javad,

I do not get any build errors. My setup is:

CCS: 10.0.0.00010

Compiler: TI v20.2.0.LTS

Free RTOS version is - 10.4

MSP432P SDK: 3.40.01.02

I did not make any modifications to the downloads.

You are using CCS 9.2. What is the compiler version?

Hi Srinivas,

Thank you for your response, I am using compiler version of 18.12.3.LTS, do i need to change the compiler version??, or should I use CCS10 only instead of CCS9.

Hi Javad,

I think updating the compiler should be sufficient.

But it might make sense to just upgrade to CCS10 if you are not restricted to using CCS9 due to some older projects you need to support.
